This model was originally designed in the 1930's by the well known Canadian badminton player It has a similar appearance and look of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. The Jack Purcell is a slightly grown up version of the All Star. The main difference is the sole and "smile" front toe portion. The Jack Purcell is a classic vintage style that is constantly cool.
